Because EVERY child deserves to experience the joy of musical expression!

Music and dance build character and self-esteem that transfer well beyond musical studies. Children who study music do better in school and in life!

Students indicate that arts participation motivates them to stay in school! The skills gained through music, voice and dance instruction, including self-discipline and the ability to analyze, solve problems, communicate and work cooperatively, are vital for success in life!

Instrumental, vocal and dance lessons, as well as instruments and costumes, are expensive. Many children miss out on these activities and experiences because they cannot afford an instrument or lessons.

“Connecting Kids with Music” provides musical instruments and scholarships for students in the Kootenai Valley.

Deserving students from the communities of Libby, Troy & Eureka will be surprised at the Riverfront Blues Festival when they are called onto the stage by one of the performing artists and presented with a brand new Musical Instrument or a Music Scholarship!!
